Nanjing Steel starts construction of wide steel plate mill

Construction work on a new wide steel plate mill at Nanjing Iron and Steel Company, a Chinese steel producer based in Jiangsu Province, has recently been commenced by China MCC 20 Group, a subsidiary of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC).
 
The new mill will produce wide steel plate products of 4.7 m in width, expanding the company's range of products as well as increasing its competitiveness in the market. The new wide steel plate mill is expected to be put into production by the end of June 2013.
