Jiuquan Steel develops stainless steel plate

Gansu Province-based Chinese steel producer Jiuquan Iron and Steel Company (Jiuquan Steel) has announced that it has successfully developed stainless steel plate production and has already sold batches of the products in question to the domestic market.
 
The new production line is capable of producing stainless steel plates in lengths of 2,000-12,000 mm, in thicknesses of 4-100 mm and in widths of 3,200 mm and lower. The new line produces high-grade shipbuilding plate, and also supplies the nuclear, mechanical and high-pressure container segments.
