MOFCOM reviews AD duties on CRC

Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) is reportedly reviewing anti-dumping duties on cold rolled coil imported from Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine and Kazakhstan to determine whether to suspend the duties. The rising cold rolled coil prices in China are stated be the main driver behind MOFCOM's action. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, MOFCOM initiated a public hearing on June 1, 2004 to determine whether to lift the subject duties. MOCFOM is expected to reveal its decision next week. It is reported that MOFCOM will probably suspend the duties.
