Modumetal's ModuGalv technology is a nanolaminated zinc coating system that has been shown to out-perform standard hot-dip galvanizing coatings in corrosion protection. The ModuGalv technology leverages the same chemistries as traditional hot-dip galvanizing, but configures it in an entirely new way. Because Modumetal can achieve corrosion and wear protection with much less material, it is able to lower cost.

SDI's steel operations produce, among other products, engineered bar products, wide-flange beams, rails, and flat-rolled steels.
