MOC: Average steel prices in China increase during Oct 16-22

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the October 16-22 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China indicated a rising trend.

In the given period, the average prices of high-speed wire rod and rebar rose by 0.5 percent and 0.4 percent, though the average price hot rolled steel strip remained stable, week on week, respectively.

In the same period, the average price of thermal coal declined by 0.2 percent, while the average prices of coking coal and smoke-free lump coal moved sideways, week on week, respectively.
