Mobarakeh Steel recommissions its EAF No. 5 after upgrading

The electric arc furnace (EAF) No. 5 of Iranian flat steel producer Mobarakeh Steel was put back into operation recently after upgrading.

Mobarakeh is currently in process of upgrading one more EAF, having already upgraded its other seven EAFs. Mobarakeh expects to achieve an annual output capacity of 5.4 million mt of crude steel after the upgrading of all eight of its EAFs.
