Moldavian Metallurgical Plant (MMZ) has announced its production results for January-April 2009.
During the period in question, MMZ produced 124,572 mt of crude steel and 155,074 mt of finished steel products. MMZ's January-April 2009 deliveries amounted to 117,290 mt, including 63,783 mt to non-CIS countries, and 53,507 mt to CIS countries.
In April 2009 MMZ successfully achieved its monthly production targets, manufacturing 34,274 mt of crude steel, and 41,170 mt of finished steel products, including 31,478 mt of rebar and 9,692 mt of wire rod.
MMZ's April deliveries amounted to 12,720 mt, including 4,944 mt to non-CIS countries, and 7,776 mt to CIS countries.
