MMK posts 11-month steel output

Russian steelmaker Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) disclosed that the company's finished steel output amounted to 10.05 million tons in the first eleven months of 2005. MMK's crude steel output reached 10.4 million tons during the same period and pig iron output totaled 8.82 million tons. MMK also said that it produced 1.43 million tons of prepared iron ore, 9.4 million tons of sinter and 5.1 million tons of coke.
