Mittal to invest $500 million in Kazakhstan

Mittal Steel, the world's largest steel producer, announced plans to invest $500 million in its assets in Kazakhstan over the next five years. In a press conference in Kazakhstan, Lakshmi Mittal, president of Mittal Steel said, "We're going to invest $500 million in the next five years." A large part of the investment will be spent to develop the coal assets of Mittal Steel Temirtau in Kazakhstan.
