Mexico’s iron pellet production in September rose 6.5 percent year-on-year, according to the latest figures released by the country’s statistics agency, Inegi.
Mexico’s iron pellet output increased to 723,010 mt in September, from 679,093 in the same month of last year and 640,446 mt in August this year.
In the cumulative period of January to September, iron pellet production declined 0.3 percent, year-on-year.

Inegi said seasonally adjusted data for the month of September indicate that the nation’s mining and metals production index improved 4.3 percent, month-on-month, and 8.3 percent in the year-on-year analysis.
