Mexico’s economy secretariat, SE, opened a public consultation for a new norm for electro-welded steel wires, which will substitute the NMX-B-456-CANACERO-2013 regulation.

According to a document filing at the nation’s official gazette, Diario Oficial (DOF), the PROY-NMX-B-456-CANACERO-2016 norm will be opened for discussion for 60 days.

The new norm approved by Canacero, the country’s steel association, establishes the specifications for electro-welded steel wire armatures for structural pillars and beams.
