Mexican iron pellet production declines in March

Mexican iron pellet output in March this year totaled 483,846 mt in March this year, falling by 10.7 percent from 541,905 mt in February this year and down by 26.1 percent from 655,011 mt in March 2019, statistics agency Inegi said on Friday.

As for Q1, Mexican iron pellet output decreased 15.2 percent, year-on-year, according to Inegi.

Inegi said the Mexican mining and metals production index in March fell 5.1 percent, month-on-month, and a similar 5.1 percent, year-on-year.
