Mexican iron pellet output increases 4 percent in March

Mexican iron pellet production in March increased 4 percent, year-over-year, to 497,150 mt, according to statistics agency, Inegi. Mexican iron pellet production in March rose 6.7 percent, month-over-month, from 465,982 mt in February this year.

According to the Mexican statistics agency, iron pellet output in Q1 this year declined 8.4 percent, year-over-year.

The mining and metals production index in March dropped 5.5 percent, month-over-month, but grew 1.4 percent, year-over-year.
