Mexican iron pellet production in June fell 1.1 percent, year-over-year, to 487,357 mt, said statistics agency, Inegi. On a monthly analysis, output dropped 5.9 percent from 518,321 mt in May this year.
As for the first half of the year (H1), Mexican iron pellets production fell 3.2 percent, year-over-year.
Inegi said the mining and metals production index in June decreased 1.8 percent, month-over-month, but increased 6.9 percent, year-over-year.
