Mexican industrial production rises in June

Mexican industrial output in June rose 0.5 percent, year-on-year, and 0.3 percent, month-on-month, the nation’s statistics agency (Inegi) said on Friday.

Industrial production in the local mining segment in June dropped 6.7 percent, year-on-year, and 0.2 percent, month-on-month. Industrial output in the local civil construction and manufacturing industry segments in June improved 0.8 and 2.5 percent, respectively, year-on-year. When compared to May this year, industrial production in the local civil construction and manufacturing industry sectors grew 0.6 and 0.1 percent, respectively, month-on-month.
