Mexican economic activity up in July

Mexican economic activity in July rose 2.8 percent, year-on-year, the nation’s statistics agency (Inegi) said on Tuesday.

According to government data, Mexican primary activities in July grew 1.8 percent, year-on-year. Secondary and tertiary activities in July improved 1.2 and 3.6 percent, year-on-year.

The local statistics agency said Mexican primary activities in July increased 2.6 percent, month-on-month. However, secondary and tertiary activities grew marginally by 0.2 and 0.3 percent, month-on-month, respectively.
