Metinvest invests UAH 2.6 billion in its Mining Division enterprises in 2012

Ukraine-based vertically-integrated mining and steel group Metinvest has announced that it invested more than UAH 2.6 billion ($315.3 million) in new equipment and in construction projects for enterprises in its Mining Division in 2012 as part of its long-term investment program. Metinvest invested over UAH 2 billion ($242.6 million) in capital construction projects and capital repairs of the equipment of its Mining Division enterprises in 2012, while investments in mining equipment during the year amounted to more than UAH 600 million ($72.8 million).
