Makeevsk starts supplying pig iron to Nucor

The Ukrainian steelmaker Makeevsk Metallurgical Plant (Makeevsk) has announced that it has started supplying pig iron to US-based steel producer Nucor Corporation (Nucor). In February 2007 Makeevsk will supply 65,000 metric tons of pig iron to Nucor, the Ukrainian steelmaker said.
