Shaanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Longmen Iron & Steel Co. Ltd completed hot testing of its 1.0 million mt capacity quality steel strip project on January 5, as announced by the municipal government of Hancheng in Shaanxi.
Construction work on the project started on February 17 2017, with the total investment amounting to RMB 605 million ($93.1 million). It will produce steel strip in thicknesses of 2.0-16.0 mm and widths of 400-750 mm.
