Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will supply a new billet grinding facility to Chinese steelmaker Yongxing Special Stainless Steel Co., Ltd (Yongxing Special Steel). The new billet grinding facility, to be installed in Huzhou in Zhejiang Province, will perform full skin conditioning on a wide array of special steels and high-temperature and anticorrosion alloy steels.
The new facility will be designed to process approximately 40,000 mt of square billets annually, in sizes of 150 mm, 180 mm and 220 mm, and is scheduled to be in full operation by the first quarter of 2017.
