Liuzhou Steel also hikes ex-factory flats prices

On December 1, Guangxi Province-based Liuzhou Steel issued new ex-factory prices for certain flat products. The details are as follows;

1. HR coils
Prices have risen RMB 100/mt ($13.4/mt) from the previous levels. As a result, the price of Q235 5.5 x 1,500 mm is now at RMB 4,810/mt ($649/mt).

2. Medium plate
Prices have been increased by RMB 50/mt ($6.7/mt). Following the adjustment, the price of 14-25 mm Q235 is at RMB 5,170/mt ($698/mt).

All the above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of December 1.
