Kuzbassrazrezugol sees 62.2 percent rise in Jan-Sept coking coal output

Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has announced that in January-September this year it produced about 35.98 million mt of coal - up 5.4 percent year on year, including 3.3 million mt of coking coal - up 62.2 percent year on year.

In September this year, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal production went up by two percent to 4.23 million mt, including 392,000 mt of coking coal - up 1.8 percent, both compared to August.

Meanwhile, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal deliveries in the first nine months of this year amounted to about 33.6 million mt, including 2.69 million mt of coking coal - up 24.85 percent, while its exports of coal amounted to 18.45 million mt - down five percent, all compared to the same period last year.
