Kuzbassrazrezugol increases coking coal output by 74.3 percent in 2010

Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has announced that in 2010 it produced about 49.71 million mt of coal - up 7.8 percent year on year, including about 4.7 million mt of coking coal - up 74.3 percent year on year.

In December last year, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal production went down by six percent to 4.36 million mt, including 461,000 mt of coking coal - down four percent, both compared to November.
 
Meanwhile, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal deliveries in 2010 amounted to about 45.51 million mt - down 0.3 percent, including 3.8 million mt of coking coal - up 38 percent, while its exports of coal amounted to 24.17 million mt - down 5.5 percent, all compared to 2009.

Kuzbassrazrezugol's production plan for 2010 has targeted an output of 49 million mt of coal.
