KORES to carry out mineral exploration in Cameroon

Seoul-based Korea Resources Corporation (KORES) has announced that company president Kim Shin Jong has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Cameroon's mines and energy minister Isak Katali regarding the exploration of iron ore, uranium and rare earths in four regions in southern Cameroon, according to South Korea's Yonhap News Agency.

KORES will cover the exploration costs and provide technology, while Cameroon will ensure political and other support for the exploration work.
