Korea’s HL Mando Co. will expand auto parts plant in Mexico with $185 million

Korea-based HL Mando Corporation announced that it will invest $185 million to expand its plant in Coahuila Mexico, with which it will add the production of other auto parts, according to local media reports.

Currently the company's only plant in Mexico is the northern city of Arteaga, Coahuila, about 12 miles southwest of the General Motors plant in Ramos Arizpe, 10 miles east of the Stellantis (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Group) plant in Saltillo, and 78 miles northeast of the Kia plant in Pesquería, Nuevo León.

The Korean company produces steering systems for vehicles in Arteaga and in the expansion or new plant it will manufacture braking systems for vehicles.
