Kazakhstan's crude steel output up 54.5% in Jan

In January this year, Kazakhstan produced 317,000 mt of crude steel, up 54.5 percent year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan.

Production of flat steel in Kazakhstan in the given month increased by 35.9 percent year on year to 203,100 mt.

In January of the current year, Kazakhstan produced 4.037 million mt of iron ore, up 11.9 percent year on year, while it saw its ferroalloy production increase by 6.9 percent year on year to 145,600 mt.
