Kazakhstan’s crude steel output down 18.4% in January-July

In the January-July period of the current year, Kazakhstan produced 1.905 million mt of crude steel, down 18.4 percent year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan.

Production of flat steel in Kazakhstan in the January-July period this year decreased by 24.4 percent year on year to 1.244 million mt.

In the first seven months of the current year, Kazakhstan saw its ferroalloy production decline by 2.2 percent year on year to 967,400 mt.
