Kazakhstan’s crude steel output down 3.1 percent in 2020

In 2020, Kazakhstan's crude steel production declined by 3.1 percent year on year to 4.003 million mt, according to the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On the other hand, Kazakhstan's flat steel production in the year in question increased to 2.568 million mt, up 26.1 percent year on year.

In the ferroalloys segment, in 2020 Kazakhstan's production rose by 1.8 percent year on year to 2.215 million mt, SteelOrbis has learned.
