Kazakhstan sees reduced revenues from flat rolled exports in 2009

According to the data released by the Republic of Kazakhstan's Agency of Statistics, in 2009 Kazakhstan's exports of flat rolled steel increased by 3.4 percent year on year to 2.564 million mt; however, its revenues from these flat rolled export decreased by 35.2 percent to $1.344 billion.

Also in 2009, Kazakhstan saw its exports of ferroalloys decrease by 14 percent year on year to 1.073 million mt, with the resulting revenues decreasing by 59.9 percent to $1.188 billion.
