JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 1.33 million mt of crude steel in August of this year, showing a decrease of one percent year on year.
According to the company's statement, in the given month JSW Steel produced 979,000 mt of flat rolled products, increasing by one percent, while its long rolled product output totaled 278,000 mt, up 10 percent, both compared to the same month of the previous year.
