JSW Steel’s crude steel output up eight percent in August

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 1.448 million mt of crude steel in August of this year, showing an increase of eight percent year on year.

According to the company's statement, in the given month JSW Steel produced 981,000 mt of flat rolled products, remaining almost stable, while its long rolled product output totaled 305,000 mt, up 10 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
