Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Jinxi Iron and Steel Co. (Jinxi Steel) has stated that it has lately passed annual inspection tests for compliance of its products with European and Singaporean standards, as well as passing certification tests for its quality management system.
Jinxi Steel initially received European standard certification in August 2007, while it first received certification for Singapore in January 2009.
In the first half of 2010, Jinxi Steel exported 253,800 mt of H-sections with a total value of $143 million to 24 countries across the world including Japan, South Korea and EU, with 329 percent and 353 percent increases respectively in the export tonnage and value compared with the first half of 2009.
