Jilin Special Steel starts to build stainless steel plant in Changchun

Chinese steel company Jilin Special Steel has started construction work on a new stainless steel plant in the city of Changchun in the Chinese province of Jilin. The annual output capacity of the plant will be 500,000 mt, and it may be expanded to 1 million mt at a later stage.

The new plant will cover a surface area of 3.05 million square meters. The construction period for the 500,000 mt phase will last three years.
