JFE Shoji Trade Corporation through its Mexico-based subsidiaries has established JFE Shoji Steel Service Center Bajio (JSSB) in Mexico to promote the processing and sales of steel products for the automotive industry. JSSB is constructed adjacent to NUCOR-JFE Steel Mexico, a joint venture between the two firms.

JSSB was established to serve both JFE Shoji America, which aims to capture the demand of steel for automobiles and Prolasma Group, a long-term business partner of JFE Shoji, which intends to further expand the automotive related business. JFE Shoji will fully utilize the expertise accumulated through the operations of steel service centers in Japan, China, Thailand, and Indonesia in collaboration with JFE Steel’s manufacturing plants for steel products for automobiles.
