Italy's crude steel output down 9.7 percent in February

In February this year, Italian crude steel output decreased by 9.7 percent year on year to 1.968 million metric tons, while in the first two months of the year the output figure amounted to 3.848 million mt, down 10.5 percent year on year, according to the figures released by the Italian steel producers association Federacciai.
 
Italian crude steel output in February of the current year was also lower compared to the crude steel outputs of 2.316 million mt in February 2011, 2.493 million mt in February 2012 and 2.121 million mt in February 2013.
