Iron ore inventories in Chinese ports reach 96 million mt

According to the China's iron ore price index released on August 30, as of August 29, iron ore inventories in Chinese ports reached 95.94 million mt, increasing by 0.18 percent as compared to the previous week.

Due to the cautious attitude of future market, many steel mills have been intending to keep their inventories lean since May.
