Iran’s Hormozgan Steel produces 9,000 mt of steel slab in one month

Iranian steel producer Hormozgan Steel, a subsidiary of Iranian state-run steelmaker Mobarakeh Steel, produced about 9,000 mt of steel slab during the month from September 21 to October 20 inclusive, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

Hormozgan Steel commissioned its second EAF a few weeks ago. Located at the Iranian Persian Gulf port of Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Steel has an annual output capacity of 1.5 million mt of steel slab
