Iranian state-run steelmaker Mobarakeh Steel produced 2,747,000 mt of steel slab and 2,825,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC) in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), both indicating increases of nine percent compared to the same period of the last Iranian year, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
Meanwhile, in the same seven-month period Saba Steel Plant, a subsidiary of Mobarakeh, produced 394,000 mt of thin slab and 394,000 mt of HRC, with these volumes not indicating any significant changes on year-on-year basis.
