Iran increases its imports of beams

In the last Iranian year (ended March 20), Iran imported 496,000 mt of I-beam, 300,000 mt of U-beam and 93,000 mt of H-beam (all sizes greater than 80 mm), marking respective increases of 79.71 percent, 6.38 percent and 45.31 percent - according to the.newly published figures from the Iranian customs authorities. In the previous year, Iran had imported 267,000 mt of I-beam, 282,000 mt of U-beam and 64,000 mt of H-beam.
