Industrial production up 0.1 percent in euro area in May

According to a report released by Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities, in May this year seasonally adjusted industrial production grew by 0.1 percent in the euro area and by 0.4 percent in the EU-27, as compared to April. In April, the respective outputs rose by 0.2 percent and 0.1 percent month on month.

In May this year, industrial production increased by four percent year on year in both areas.
