India’s RINL and British Columbia ink coal mining cooperation agreement

Indian state-run steelmaking and mining company Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel, has announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with the ministry of international trade of British Columbia, Canada, focusing on various possibilities of sourcing coal from British Columbia, equity participation in coal assets and coal asset acquisition.
                              
The agreement expresses the intent to promote and expand bilateral cooperation in the minerals and mining sector, to explore and encourage investment opportunities, development and exploration of mining-related projects and exchange of technological research and innovation.
