India’s ACME Group signs land agreement with Tata Steel group company to put up green hydrogen making plant

Indian renewable energy company, ACME Group, has signed a land agreement for 343 acres with Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Limited (TSSEZL), a Tata Group company to set up a green hydrogen and green ammonia plant at coastal port town of Gopalpur in Odisha, an ACME Group statement said on Monday, August 28.

The ACME Group is exploring possibilities of entering into a collaboration with IHI Corporation, Japan for this project.

The project will sell green hydrogen and green ammonia to domestic industrial users and scout for export opportunities for both the products, the statement said.

TSSEZL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited and operates the Gopalpur Industrial Park (GIP) housing manufacturing production units both for domestic market and exports.
