Indian producer Iisco to expand capacity
Burnpur-based steel producer Indian Iron & Steel Co Ltd (Iisco) is reportedly planning to increase its liquid steel production capacity from 500'000 tons to 1 million tons with an investment of Rupees 4-5 billion ($86.3-108 million). It is stated that capacity expansion is in its initial stages and the final stages will be completed by Iisco and Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL).
