In the January-October period of this year, the steel industry in China's Hebei Province recorded an overall operating revenue of RMB 1.110069 trillion ($0.17 trillion), up 29.95 percent, and a gross profit of RMB 59.324 billion ($8.97 billion), rising by 127.95 percent, both year on year, with the gross profit accounting for 23.17 percent of overall industrial gross profits in Hebei Province, as announced by Hebei Metallurgical Industry Association.
In the January-October period, Hebei Province exported 14.8382 million mt of finished steel, with an export value of $8.103 billion, down 51.07 percent and 25.96 percent year on year, respectively.
