Hebei Steel Group inks strategic agreement with Baosteel Group

Yu Yong, president of Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has inked a strategic cooperation agreement together with Chen Derong, general manager of Chinese steelmaker Baosteel Group.

Accordingly, the two steel producers will cooperate in areas involving e-commerce platforms, logistics and finance. In particular, both parties will discuss the prospects for close cooperation between their respective e-commerce platforms, namely, Baosteel’s Ouyeel and Hebei Iron and Steel Trading Center.
