Handan Steel ups ex-factory price for medium plate

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 28, Hebei Province-based Handan Steel hiked its ex-factory prices for medium plate by RMB 70/mt ($9/mt). After the adjustment, the mill's price of 8mm Q235 common carbon medium plate now costs RMB 4320/mt ($556/mt), while its price of 14-25mm Q235 has risen to RMB 3840/mt ($494/mt). The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of January 28, 2007.
