Handan Steel develops H600 low-alloy high-strength steel

Major Chinese steelmaker Hebei Steel Group has announced that its subsidiary Handan Iron and Steel Co. has produced H600 low-alloy high-strength steel used in automobile bodies at its hot rolled plant in the east of Handan city in Hebei Province. The steel in question has successfully passed all quality tests.
 
In the January-July period of the current year, Handan Steel delivered over 260,000 mt steel for application in the automotive sector to the market.
