Germany’s crude steel output down in March
Germany's crude steel output fell 0.8% year on year to 4.01 million tons in March 2005, according to data from Germany's Federal Statistical Office. However, the country's pig iron output rose 2.2% year on year to 2.61 million tons. Compared to February 2005, production of crude steel and pig iron saw increases of 9.2% and 10.8% respectively. Crude steel output totaled 11.66 million tons through the first three months of the year, while pig iron output amounted to 7.61 million tons.Germany's crude steel output down in March
