German iron ore import prices up 12.2 percent in July

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in July this year the import price of iron ore in Germany increased by 12.2 percent year on year and was down 7.3 percent month on month. 

In July, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany increased by 16.1 percent year on year and was down one percent as compared to June.

Meanwhile, in July this year the import price of nickel decreased by 8.7 percent compared to the same month last year and increased by 1.3 percent month on month.
