German iron ore import prices down 19.3 percent in July

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in July of the current year the import price of iron ore in Germany decreased by 19.3 percent year on year and was up 1.6 percent month on month.

In July, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany decreased by 5.2 percent year on year and was down 1.4 percent as compared to June. 

Meanwhile, in July this year the import price of nickel decreased by 20 percent year on year and was down by 4.5 percent month on month.
